Earlier this month, Scott D’Amore, the president of TNA Wrestling, was fired from the company. Len Asper, the owner of TNA’s parent company, Anthem Sports and Entertainment, then appointed Anthony Cicone as the new TNA President.
A few hours ago, a report surfaced that Tommy Dreamer had been appointed as TNA’s Head of Creative. PWInsider reported that it was incorrect.
PWInsider added that Tommy Dreamer, RD Evans, and Hunter “Delirious” Johnston were the members of the creative team before D’Amore’s departure, and they will continue in their roles. Gail Kim also supported them. Jorge Barbosa, the Senior Producer of Anthem, also joined the team.
PWInsider further noted that Ariel Shnerer will be overseeing the TNA creative process going forward. Shnerer is the former General Manager of the Fight Network. He has been involved in TNA since Anthem purchased the company in 2017. Shnerer will be working in conjunction with Anthony Cicione.
