Chris Jericho Comments On Tony Khan’s Social Media Rant Against WWE

Chris Jericho Comments On Tony Khan's Social Media Rant Against WWE

AEW President Tony Khan had a rant against WWE on social media last week. That’s because AEW wasn’t able to beat WWE in the viewership after WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite went head-to-head on Tuesday at the same time.

Last week, Tony Khan attacked Vince McMahon on X twice. Khan then took shots at Triple H and Shawn Michaels, who run WWE products. He mocked John Cena and Undertaker for failing to gain 1 million in the viewership. Khan also revealed why the pro wrestling business became personal to him.

In an interview with The Messenger, Chris Jericho gave his opinion on Tony Khan’s social media rant last week. Jericho stated that Khan created All Elite Wrestling. Therefore, he can do whatever he wants.

“I learned years ago that bosses are going to be bosses, and billionaires are going to be billionaires. I’ve been working for billionaires for 25 years at this point. You can’t control Tony Khan. He’s going to do what he wants to do and God bless him. He created this company. He runs this company. He also grew up in the social media era. He got into wrestling via message boards online. He’s always going to be attuned to that… He can say what he wants, I’m not going to tell him, ‘Take your phone away.”
