Last April, Charlotte Flair dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39. Charlotte then took a hiatus from WWE. Rhea Ripley was then drafted to WWE RAW while Charlotte was drafted to SmackDown during the 2023 WWE Draft.
This past Friday, Adam Pearce presented Asuka with a brand-new WWE Women’s Championship on SmackDown. Charlotte Flair then made her return and challenged The Empress to a match for the title. Charlotte made it clear that she doesn’t wait in line. The bout will take place three weeks later on SmackDown.
Charlotte Flair made her return to SmackDown after months of absence last December. After returning, She defeated Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Her taking vacations and constantly getting championship opportunities disappointed many fans.
Yesterday, Charlotte Flair reacted to the criticisms with a few tweets. In the first tweet, she stated that fans should be thanking her.
