The Rock, John Cena, and Batista are the biggest names in Hollywood right now. It seems like more WWE superstars are on their way to the silver screen. Recently, Seth Rollins was spotted on the set of Captain America: New World Order. Now, two former WWE Women’s Champions secured roles in a Hollywood movie.
Mildred Burke was an American women’s pro wrestler who competed in the squared circle from the 1930s to the 1950s. A film about the life, career, and marriage of Burke is set to start production in June.
Fightful Select reported that Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan are cast in the movie. The film will be shoot in Louisville, Kentucky. Charlotte Flair will portray the WWE Hall of Famer June Byers while Liv Morgan plays the role of Clara Mortensen in the movie.

Starring Emily Bett Rickards as Mildred Burke, the movie highlights her life, career and marriage. The film is based on the book Queen of the Ring by the Pulitzer Prize winning Jeff Leen. It’s produced by Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins, and written/directed by Ash Avildsen.”

Charlotte Flair last competed at this year’s WrestleMania, where she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley. Liv Morgan is currently sidelined with a shoulder injury. Liv last competed on the May 12th episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
