This past Saturday, FTR and Daniel Garcia picked up the victory over House of Black in an Escape the Cage Elimination match on AEW Collision. However, the initial plan was an Elimination Trios Steel Cage match.
Dave Meltzer discussed the stipulation change on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer claimed that Malakai Black never “does jobs.” He added that two members of House of Black will join WWE when their AEW contracts expire. Meltzer then asked why AEW “keep putting them over when you know they’re leaving?”
On X, Brody King responded to Dave Meltzer’s claims. Buddy Matthews also responded to Meltzer’s claims. He posted a screenshot of his win-loss record with the following caption:

Malakai Black is yet to respond to Meltzer’s claims. However, Black issued a statement on January 1st regarding a similar accusation.
