Several former UFC fighters, including Cung Le, Jon Fitch, and Brandon Vera, filed a lawsuit against the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2014. In the lawsuit, they alleged that UFC manipulated the MMA industry in a way that harmed fighters’ ability to obtain fair employment in the field.
Bloody Elbow has recently obtained court documents related to the lawsuit. In the document, they have learned the payouts that UFC made from 2011 to 2016.
Here are Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and CM Punk’s payouts during that period.
Brock Lesnar
- Alistair Overeem defeated Brock Lesnar via TKO in the first round at UFC 141. Lesnar received $3,000,000 for the bout.
- Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt – No Contest at UFC 200. Initially, Lesnar won the fight via unanimous decision. It was later overturned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission due to Lesnar failing a drug test. He received $8,000,000 for the bout.
Ronda Rousey
- Ronda Rousey defeated Liz Carmouche via Armbar in the first round at UFC 157. Rousey received $574,720 for the bout.
- Ronda Rousey defeated Miesha Tate via Armbar in the third round at UFC 168. Rousey received $1,817,907 for the bout.
- Ronda Rousey defeated Sara McMann via TKO in the first round at UFC 170. Rousey received $870,969 for the bout.
- Ronda Rousey defeated Alexis Davis via Knockout in the first round at UFC 175. Rousey received $1,063,688 for the bout.
- Ronda Rousey defeated Cat Zingano via Armbar in the first round at UFC 184. Rousey received $1,458,282 for the bout.
- Ronda Rousey defeated Bethe Correia via Knockout in the first round at UFC 190. Rousey received $2,642,204 for the bout.
- Holly Holm defeated Ronda Rousey via Knockout in the second round at UFC 193. Rousey received $4,476,662 or $4,536,932 for the bout.
- Amanda Nunes defeated Ronda Rousey via TKO in the first round at UFC 207. Rousey received $4,879,766 for the bout.
CM Punk
- Mickey Gall defeated CM Punk via Rear Naked Choke in the first round at UFC 203. Punk received $1,042,736 for the bout.
