Brock Lesnar Removed From WWE Game Following Lawsuit Controversy

By The Spotlight StaffFebruary 2, 2024
Brock Lesnar Removed From WWE Game Following Lawsuit Controversy

Brock Lesnar was supposed to make his return at WWE Royal Rumble PLE this past Saturday. Lesnar was pulled from the event after Janel Grant’s lawsuit.

According to the suit, Vince McMahon has used Grant to re-sign a former UFC Heavyweight Champion to WWE in 2021. The Wall Street Journal identified the individual as Brock Lesnar.

As of now, WWE is distancing itself from Brock Lesnar. 2K is also following in the footsteps of WWE. The video game publisher has removed Lesnar from WWE SuperCard (a digital collectible card game).

PWInsider reported that Brock Lesnar will be downplayed by 2K and other licensees going forward.

“We should expect to see Lesnar downplayed (if not outright removed as he was in the Supercard game) as much as possible going forward by 2K and potentially other licensees.”
