Britt Baker is the first female wrestler that AEW signed for the promotion. Baker made her AEW debut on May 25th, 2019 at Double or Nothing pay-per-view. She then became the face of the AEW Women’s division.

The D.M.D last competed on AEW television on the January 11th edition of AEW Dynamite, where she teamed with AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter to defeat Toni Storm and Saraya in a Tag Team match.

Last week, AEW announced that Britt Baker will compete against Ruby Soho and Toni Storm in a Triple Threat match. However, a few hours ago, AEW announced that Baker has suffered an injury and is unable to compete. The company also stated that Ruby Soho will face Toni Storm in a singles match on AEW Dynamite tonight.

“Due to injury, Dr. @RealBrittBaker D.M.D. will not be able to compete in the scheduled 3-Way Match on #AEWDynamite.

Following their postmatch encounter last Wednesday on Dynamite, it will now be @realrubysoho fighting #ToniStorm one-on-one LIVE on TBS at 8pm ET/7pm CT, TONIGHT!”
