Two Months ago, Big E and Kofi had a tag team match against Sheamus and Ridge Holland. During the match, Big E suffered a broken neck after taking a belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland.
Later Big E stated that, C1 and C6 vertebrae were fractured, but non-displacement and he won’t require any surgery.
Earlier today, Big E shared some unfortunate news regarding his recovery. He stated,
“For those desirous of an update, my C1 apparently isn’t healing optimally. I’ll spend another 4-6 weeks in a brace in hopes that I can avoid a fusion. But don’t you fret! I’ve got a tremendous support system & what shall be shall be.”

Big E has received a lot of support from fellow wrestlers and fans while recovers. Recently Kofi spent some time with Big E. We wish Big E a speedy and full recovery.
