Mercedes Mone made her All Elite Wrestling debut on the March 13th episode of AEW Dynamite: Big Business. Mone is currently involved in a storyline with Willow Nightingale, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue.
The former IWGP Women’s Champion allegedly signed a big money deal with Tony Khan’s company, which made her one of the highest-paid women wrestlers in pro wrestling.
In an interview with Orlando Sentinel, Becky Lynch was asked about Mone’s AEW contract.
“I think that’s an important part, getting paid equally for the equal work and the equal position we are at right now. Women’s evolutions and revolutions are fine and well, but making sure that they equate to contracts and financial reward for these things when we are doing equal work is hugely important.”
