Ronda Rousey was unable to defeat Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at SummerSlam last month. In the final moment of the match, Liv Morgan tapped out to Ronda Rousey’s armbar submission but the referee did not see it and counted three. That made Rousey furious and she attacked both Liv and referee.
Later, WWE announced that The Baddest Woman On The Planet has been fined and suspended indefinitely. In the past couple of weeks, Rousey stormed into the ring and requested to lift the suspension, and last week she was arrested.
Fightful Select reported that Ronda Rousey’s suspension is supposed to be lifted on the September 2nd episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE Clash at the Castle is scheduled to take place on September 3rd at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. WWE is taping next week’s episode of SmackDown tonight due to superstars traveling to the UK for Clash at the Castle.
