Last night on SmackDown, Alexa Bliss went one-on-one with Roxanne Perez in a heated match leading up to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title bout at SummerSlam. Bliss and Flair are set to challenge Judgment Day for the Championship, and this match served as a major preview.
Both the Goddess and the Prodigy delivered high-level offense in a hard-fought battle. But things took a turn when Roxanne’s tag partner, Raquel Rodriguez, got involved. As Bliss tried to stop Rodriguez from powerbombing Charlotte Flair outside the ring with a Twisted Bliss, she ended up getting hurt in the process.
Back in the ring, Roxanne took advantage of the chaos and pinned Bliss for the win. After the match, it was clear that Bliss suffered a bloody nose during the action.
Fans were quick to worry, but Alexa Bliss stated on X that she is fine.
