Yutaka Yoshie has passed away at the age of 50.
On Sunday, Yutaka Yoshie and Ryo Inoue faced Hokuto Omori and Ryouji Sai at the AJPW Dream Power Series in Takasaki, Japan. All Japan Pro Wrestling stated that Yoshie came backstage following the bout, and his condition suddenly deteriorated. He was then transported to the hospital in Takasaki. The family members later informed the company of the passing of Yoshie.

After Yutaka Yoshie returned to the waiting room after the match, his condition suddenly deteriorated and he was rushed to a hospital in Takasaki City, but he never returned home. AJPW announced they have postponed the show that was supposed to air on Monday at 19:00 due to the passing of Yutaka Yoshie.
