This past Sunday AEW held its fourth annual AEW Revolution pay-per-view at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. In that event, Samoa Joe defended his TNT Championship against Wardlow.
The 35-year-old star won the TNT Title by defeating Joe which was the second time that he won the title.
Wardlow is scheduled to defend his TNT Championship against the No. 1 contender Powerhouse Hobbs this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite. However, Wardlow faced an unexpected incident on Tuesday evening.
Wardlow posted a video clip on Twitter and revealed that a person has broken into his rental car and stolen his bag which contained wrestling gear & TNT Championship.
“Well thanks to the person who broke into my rental car and took absolutely everything from me. My TNT title, my ring gear, my boots, my whole life were in those bags. I don’t know if that means I’ll have to beat the sh** out of Hobbs in these clothes I’m wearing right now, but one way or another I’m going to make it to Sacramento and we’re going to get this sh** done. Whoever did do this, better thank God, I didn’t catch you in the act as your jaw would be as shattered as this glass is.”
Might have new gear tomorrow. Will also have an abundance of frustration to take out to say the very least…. Damn pic.twitter.com/07un3lfhd9
