Eddie Kingston last competed at the ROH Supercard Of Honor XVI, where he faced Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Championship. However, Kingston was unable to win the title.
The company then aired a video package on the April 13th episode of ROH. In the video package, Kingston discussed the match between him and Castagnoli that took place at the Supercard Of Honor on March 31st. Kingston then revealed that he is dealing with a hernia injury since September.
Kingston’s injury has been aggravated following the match against Castagnoli at Supercard Of Honor. He is scheduled to undergo surgery soon.
“I’ve been dealing with a hernia injury. Well, I just found out it was a hernia. I’ve been dealing with an injury since September. The reason why I’m gonna most likely need surgery for this hernia, the hernia acted up really bad and I’ve had it since September.”
