AEW Star Reportedly No Longer Under Contract With Company

Recently, Mark Henry announced that his AEW contract expires this week. Henry is not the only one leaving All Elite Wrestling this month.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam reported that Jake Hager’s contract with All Elite Wrestling has expired. Haynes also noted that Hager and Khan mutually agreed not to renew the contract.

“AEW Star Jake Hager’s contract has also recently expired and that he did not re-sign with All Elite Wrestling making him a free agent. It was also noted to me that the decision was believed to be mutual.”

Hager made his AEW debut on the October 2nd, 2019 episode of Dynamite. However, he had an underwhelming run in Tony Khan’s company. Hager was part of The Inner Circle and the Jericho Appreciation Society during his time in AEW.

Hager last competed on the February 23rd episode of AEW Rampage, where he lost to Roderick Strong.
