In the past couple of months, AEW wrestlers suffered numerous injuries. Unfortunately, injuries are part of pro wrestling and wrestlers risk their lives to entertain the fans.
Last December, AEW wrestler Laura “The Bunny” Dennis returned to AEW television after months of being away from the squared circle due to an injury.
This past Wednesday, Bunny competed on AEW Dynamite where she faced Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s World Championship. During the match, Hayter attempted to perform a Suplex on Bunny. Hayter botched the maneuver. As a result, Bunny landed awkwardly on the mat and the bout ended earlier than planned. Hayter won the match after hitting her finishing move, the Hayterade on Bunny.

PWInsider reported that people backstage believed Bunny possibly suffered a concussion or broken orbital bone. They also noted that she underwent medical testing following the match.
“The belief backstage was that she[Bunny] may have suffered a concussion or even a possible broken orbital bone, but that has not been 100% confirmed.”

As of now, Bunny nor AEW has provided any update on the injury.
