Last night, AEW aired a backstage segment where Don Callis told Kenny Omega that he will meet Adam Page to apologize for last week’s incident. Callis then met Page to apologize but both of them were attacked by Blackpool Combat Club.

Don Callis fell to the floor after being punched by Jon Moxley. Later, the AEW commentary team announced that Callis was checked by the medical team.

PWInsider reported that Don Callis was legitimately hurt and it wasn’t a planned spot.

“We are told Callis struck his head while going down after being punched by Jon Moxley and was legitimately busted open. What the announcers stated about Callis being checked out backstage was 100% legitimate as he was absolutely dinged up.”

Wrestling Observer Reported that Don Callis stayed at the Hospital overnight and received several stitches.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
