This past Friday’s AEW Rampage kicked off with the match between Rey Fenix and Komander. Fenix picked up the victory over Komander.
Aussie Open defeated Ethan Page & Isiah Kassidy to retain the ROH Tag Team Championship. After the match, Kyle Fletcher said that MJF will never hit a Kangaroo Kick on them at All In. The Hardys then challenged Aussie Open for the Titles.
Hikaru Shida & Skye Blue defeated Toni Storm & Ruby Soho in a Tag Team match. After the match, Outcasts attacked Shida & Blue. Britt Baker came to make the save. The show ended with a brawl between Shida, Storm, Saraya, and Baker.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the August 18th episode of AEW Rampage drew 416,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (August 11) drew 398,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
