This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite took place at the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas. The show kicked off with the match between Penta El Zero Miedo and Jay White. Juice Robinson punched Penta when The Gunns distracted the referee. Jay White then pinned Penta to pick up the victory.
Hikaru Shida defeated Emi Sakura.
Wardlow squashed Ryan Nemeth.
In a backstage interview, Adam Copeland told Renee Paquette that he doesn’t want to wrestle Christian Cage or win his TNT Title. Adam also said that he would be there for Christian when Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne left him.
Kenny Omega defeated Kyle Fletcher with a One-Winged Angel.
Lance Archer defeated Barret Brown.
Sting came to the ring and announced that he would retire from in-ring action next year at AEW Revolution.
Juice Robinson won the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal. Robinson last eliminated Max Caster. He will face MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring next Wednesday.
According to Nielsen via SportsTVRatings, the October 18th episode of AEW Dynamite drew 901,000 viewers on TBS and a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
