This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite took place at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The show kicked off with MJF’s backstage segment. Adam Cole appeared via video call and told MJF that he was worried due to not being able to help him. Cole told MJF to pick Samoa Joe as his tag team partner at Full Gear. Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard came to the scene. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom then came. Roderick told MJF that he could give him tips because he is a wrestling legend. MJF told Roderick that he is completely a joke now.
MJF defeated Daniel Garcia to retain the AEW World Championship.
Sting and Darby Allin defeated The Outrunners in a Tag Team match.
Swerve Strickland defeated Penta El Zero Miedo. After the match, Adam Page attacked Strickland.
In a backstage segment, Young Bucks challenged Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho to a Tag Team match at Full Gear.
Samoa Joe defeated Keith Lee to retain the ROH Television Championship. Joe vacated the title after the match. Joe said that he’s focused on winning the AEW World Championship.
The Gunns defeated The Bollywood Boyz in a Tag Team match.
Julia Hart defeated Red Velvet. Julia attacked Velvet after the bout. Skye Blue came to the ring. Skye had a staredown with Julia. However, Julia left the ring after Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander came to the ring.
Jay White defeated Mark Briscoe. After the match, MJF attacked Bullet Club Gold except for Jay White. The Switchblade left the ring. Meanwhile, several masked men attacked The Acclaimed backstage.
According to Nielsen via SportsTVRatings, the November 8th episode of AEW Dynamite drew 804,000 viewers on TBS and a 0.27 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
