This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite took place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jon Moxley faced Jay Lethal in the Continental Classic. The BCC member defeated Lethal to earn three points in the Gold League.
In a backstage segment, Tony Schiavone announced that Sting’s retirement match will take place on Sunday, March 3rd, at the Greensboro Coliseum.
RUSH defeated Mark Briscoe to earn three points in the Continental Classic.
AEW World Champion MJF came to the ring to hype his upcoming match against Samoa Joe. MJF praised Joe for his contribution to pro wrestling. Three masked men then attacked MJF. Joe came to MJF’s aid. MJF and Joe will face two masked men in a Tag Team match next Wednesday.
Top Flight and Action Andretti defeated The Hardys and Brother Zay in a Six-Man Tag Team match.
Julia Hart defeated Emi Sakura to retain the TBS Championship.
Christian Cage delivered a heartwarming promo to Adam Copeland and asked Adam to team up with him again. However, Christian tried to attack Adam with the TNT Title when he turned around. Adam was able to defend against the attack and hit Christian with a low blow. The Rated R Superstar told Christian that he would face him for the TNT Title next week on Dynamite.
In the main event, Swerve Strickland defeated Jay White to earn three points in the Gold League.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the November 29th episode of AEW Dynamite drew 858,000 viewers on TBS and a 0.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
