This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Luchasaurus defended his TNT Championship against Darby Allin and Christian Cage in a Triple Threat match. In the closing moment, Darby delivered a Coffin Drop on Luchasaurus. Christian then threw Darby out of the ring and pinned Luchasaurus to become the new TNT Champion.
In a backstage segment, Tony Schiavone announced that Christian Cage will defend his TNT Title against Darby Allin in a 2-out-of-3-falls match at WrestleDream.
RVD and Hook defeated Angelo Parker and Matt Menard in a Tag Team match.
Julia Hart defeated Kiera Hogan. After the match, Brody King challenged Kris Statlander to put her TBS Title on the line against Julia at WrestleDream.
Jay White defeated Andrade El Idolo.
FTR defeated The Workhorsemen to retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
In the main event, Bryan Danielson defeated Ricky Starks in a Texas Death match.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the September 23rd episode of AEW Collision drew 562,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
