This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. FTR defended their AEW World Tag Team Titles against Ricky Starks and Big Bill in the opening match. Starks delivered a Spear on Dax Harwood to become the new AEW Tag Team Champions.
Bryan Danielson defeated Kyle Fletcher. After the match, Gates of Agony assaulted Danielson. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta made the save.
Juice Robinson, Austin & Colten Gunn faced Metalik, Gravity & Angelico in a Six-Man Tag Team match. Robinson pinned Metalik to pick up the victory.
The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn defeated The Iron Savages to retain the AEW World Trios Titles.
Toni Storm defeated Kiera Hogan.
Eddie Kingston defeated Komander to retain the ROH World Championship.
Adam Copeland appeared in the final segment and said that he came to AEW to team up with Christian Cage. Adam said that he wanted to know why Christian refused his idea on AEW Dynamite. The Rated R Superstar called out the TNT Champion. Christian Cage appeared on the big screen and said that he would give the answer at AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday.
Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne then came to the ring and attacked Adam. Darby Allin came to Adam’s aid. However, they took him out as well.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the October 7th episode of AEW Collision drew 353,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.09 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
