This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland opened the show. However, he was interrupted by Christian Cage and his protégés. Christian also brought several security guards with him. TNT Champion told Adam “Why don’t you nicely step out of that ring, walk back up that ramp, and hit the bricks..”
Bryan Danielson came to the ring and informed Christian Cage that Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne were banned from ringside in the main event. AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill then came to the ring. Ricky told Christian that he has respect for the TNT Champion. FTR also came to the ring and talked about the loss of their titles. The guards then got into a brawl with Adam, Danielson, and FTR. However, babyfaces got the upper hand.
Samoa Joe defeated Willie Mack to retain the ROH Television Championship.
Juice Robison defeated Christopher Daniels.
Kyle Fletcher defeated Iron Savages’ Boulder.
Kris Statlander defeated Skye Blue to retain the TBS Championship. Statlander extended her hand for a handshake to Blue after the match. Skye Blue slapped Statlander’s hand. Willow Nightingale calmed down her.
Keith Lee defeated The Outrunners’ Turbo Floyd.
In the main event, Christian Cage defeated Bryan Danielson to retain the TNT Championship. Ricky Starks helped Christian to pick up the victory. Heels attacked The American Dragon after the bout. Adam Copeland and FTR came to Danielson’s aid.
According to Nielsen via SportsTVRatings, the October 14th episode of AEW Collision drew 504,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
