This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC. The show kicked off with the AEW World Tag Team Championship match between FTR vs. Big Bill & Brian Cage. FTR hit a Shatter Machine on Cage to retain the titles. After the match, Dax Harwood challenged Young Bucks to a match at All In.
Kris Statlander defeated Mercedes Martinez to retain the AEW TBS Championship.
Samoa Joe defeated Serpentico with a submission. After the match, ROH TV Champion challenged CM Punk to a match at All In.
The House of Black ( Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black) defeated Darius Martin, Action Andretti, and Lee Johnson to retain the AEW Trios Championships. House of Black will defend their titles against CM Punk & FTR next Saturday on AEW Collision.
Jay White defeated Metalik in a singles match.
In the main event, CM Punk retained his Real World Championship by defeating Ricky Starks.
According to Nielsen via Wrestlenomics, the August 5th episode of AEW Collision drew 417,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (July 29) drew 739,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.27 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
