This past Saturday’s AEW Collision took place at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The show kicked off with a match between The Golden Vampire and Samoa Joe. Golden Vampire attacked Joe before the bell rings. After hitting GTS on Joe, he was revealed to be Punk. The Real World Champion then accepted Joe’s challenge at All In.
Jay White defeated Dalton Castle in a singles match.
The Gunn Club & Juice Robinson defeated Iron Savages & Jacked Jameson in a Six-Man Tag Team match.
Big Bill came to the ring along with Ricky Starks. Bill defeated Derrick Neal.
Willow Nightingale defeated Diamante.
Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Kevin Ku. After the match, Miro appeared on the big screen and accepted Hobbs’ challenge at All Out.
In the main event, Darby Allin defeated Christian Cage. Luchasaurus and Cage attacked Allin after the match. Cage covered Allin while Luchasaurus forced Tony Schiavone to count the three. Schiavone then announced Cage as still the TNT Champion.
According to Nielsen via SpoilerTV, the August 19th episode of AEW Collision drew 482,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The previous episode (August 12) drew 476,000 viewers on TNT and a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
