By The Spotlight StaffSeptember 14, 2023
Matt Riddle's WWE Return Date After Incident At JFK Airport

WWE is scheduled to hold live events this weekend in Kennewick, Washington and Boise, Idaho. Initially, Matt Riddle was advertised for those two shows. However, Riddle was pulled from the events after last Sunday’s incident at JFK airport.

According to PWInsider, Matt Riddle was removed from this weekend’s live event due to a medical issue. Dave Meltzer noted that Riddle had a double ear infection and bronchitis.

PWInsider reported that The Original Bro will be appearing on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW in Salt Lake City, Utah.

“WWE sources indicate that Matt Riddle is currently slated to return next week at Monday Night Raw.”

Matt Riddle last wrestled on the September 4th edition of RAW. Riddle is currently developing a partnership with Drew McIntyre on WWE television.
