In the past few months, Sheamus feuded with Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. The Celtic Warrior wasn’t able to beat Gunther each time and their feud ended at WrestleMania 39.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther and United States Champion Austin Theory were drafted to opposite brands during the 2023 WWE Draft. Now, Sheamus and Theory are on the blue brand. Last week, Sheamus, Theory and Bobby Lashley competed in a Triple Threat match in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
Yesterday, Sheamus responded to a fan who posted a video clip of the World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat match. In that video clip, Sheamus hit Theory with a vicious knee to the face. The Celtic Warrior tweeted that “It’s rude to spit in public #kids.”
