WWE NXT Star Officially Listed As Member Of SmackDown Roster

WWE NXT Star Officially Listed As Member Of SmackDown Roster

A few months ago, several superstars from WWE NXT were drafted to the main roster. Among them, Grayson Waller and Pretty Deadly were able to gain momentum on the blue brand.

Last December, WWE signed Dragon Lee to the company after his successful run in AAA. Lee then became a prominent member of the NXT brand.

Last month, Dragon Lee faced Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship on the September 25th episode of Monday Night RAW. Lee was unable to win the title. However, he received huge praise from fans and the management for his performance.

Dragon Lee last competed on this past Friday’s SmackDown, where he picked up the victory over Austin Theory. According to WWE’s official website, the 28-year-old star has been listed as a member of the SmackDown brand.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated, “The nature of the deal he [Dragon Lee] signed did indicate he’d be on the main roster after one year in NXT to begin with, but the match with Dominik may have sped up his timetable.”
