Here are the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank predictions.
Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship
Two weeks ago, Finn Balor challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Balor brutally attacked Rollins on the June 19th episode of WWE RAW. The Prince ambushed Rollins on last week’s NXT as well. This past Monday, Finn Balor got into a brawl with Seth Rollins. However, The Visionary got the upper hand.
This is the second time Seth Rollins and Finn Balor facing each other for the World Championship in WWE. Last time, Balor became the inaugural Universal Champion by defeating Rollins at SummerSlam in 2016. However, a day later, Balor had to relinquish the title due to a shoulder injury. The Prince blamed Rollins for his downfall and is waiting to get revenge at Money in the Bank. It’s too early for Seth Rollins to lose the title. Our Prediction: Seth Rollins retains the World Heavyweight Championship.
Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Iyo Sky vs. Trish Stratus vs. Zelina Vega vs. Zoey Stark
This match is hard to predict than Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Trish Stratus and Zelina Vega won’t have a chance to win. Becky Lynch and Zoe Stark have a high chance of winning the MITB briefcase. Bayley and Iyo Sky are not on good terms since Backlash PLE. Therefore, both women could set up a match at SummerSlam during this bout. Our Prediction: Iyo Sky becomes Ms. Money in the Bank.
Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler vs. Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles
Last month, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez had to relinquish their Women’s Tag Team Titles after Liv suffered an injury. Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won the vacant Tag Team Titles in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team match on the May 29th episode of WWE RAW.
Last week on SmackDown, they defeated Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn to become the Undisputed WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. After the match, Liv Morgan made her return. Both Liv & Rodriguez then challenged Rousey & Baszler for the titles that they never lost.
Rousey & Baszler should hold the titles for a long time to become the most dominant women’s tag team in WWE history. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez should split up and go on their own path. Our Prediction: Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler retain the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
Gunther vs. Matt Riddle for the Intercontinental Championship
This past Monday, Matt Riddle challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank. Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser then attacked Riddle and accepted the challenge.
The Ring General is a few months away from becoming the longest-reigning IC Champion in WWE history. The King of Bros isn’t the same as when he was with Randy Orton last year. Therefore, Riddle needs to rebuild his character before winning a championship again. Our Prediction: Gunther retains the Intercontinental Championship.
Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Butch vs. Damian Priest vs. LA Knight vs. Logan Paul vs. Ricochet vs. Santos Escobar vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
There are only three superstars in this match who should become Mr. Money in the Bank. That is Logan Paul, LA Knight, and Damian Priest. Knight has been very popular with the fans despite being a heel. Logan Paul winning the MITB briefcase will boost the company’s popularity. Damian Priest needs the MITB briefcase to become a top star in WWE. Our Prediction: Logan Paul becomes Mr. Money in the Bank.
Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio
The storyline between Cody Rhodes and Dominik Mysterio began on the June 5 episode of Monday Night RAW. Rhea Ripley could interfere in the match to help Dominik. However, in the end, Rhodes picks up the victory and moves on to the tie-breaker match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Our Prediction: Cody Rhodes wins the match.
Bloodline Civil War: The Usos vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a Tag Team Match
Last month, Jimmy Uso decided to quit Bloodline by attacking Roman Reigns at Night of Champions. Two weeks ago, Jey Uso hit a Superkick on Roman Reigns, following in the footsteps of his brother Jimmy. Last week, Jimmy and Jey hit multiple Superkicks on Solo Siko and sent a message to The Tribal Chief.
This tag team match is bigger than any match on the Money in the Bank card. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa lost to Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at Night of Champions. Everyone knows that WWE protecting Roman Reigns in this match. However, losing back-to-back matches will slow down Reigns’ momentum. The Bloodline Civil War should continue through SummerSlam. Either Jimmy, Jey, or Solo should challenge The Tribal Chief for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on August 5 at SummerSlam. Our Prediction: Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa win the match.
