Baron Corbin is one of the best heels in WWE right now. Corbin recently paired with WWE Hall of Famer JBL who introduced Corbin as the Modern Day Wrestling God.
Baron Corbin last competed on WWE television on the January 9th episode of Monday Night RAW, where he interrupted Kevin Owens while Owens doing a promo. KO then challenged Corbin to a match and Owens picked up the victory.
Last night, the Modern Day Wrestling God competed at WWE Live Event in Corbin, Kentucky. Corbin faced Dolph Ziggler in a singles match. In the closing moment of the bout, Baron Corbin attempted to perform The Rock’s iconic People’s Elbow. However, Ziggler stood up and hit a superkick to win the match.

WWE Royal Rumble is scheduled to take place from the Alamodome on Saturday, January 28th in San Antonio, Texas. There are a lot of rumors circulated on social media about Rock will show up at the Royal Rumble match. WWE also hinted at the People’s Champ’s return multiple times and last night’s hint was the latest one.
