Last month, Vince McMahon had to resign from TKO Group as the Executive Chairman and the board of directors after Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against him, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. However, McMahon strongly denied the allegations.
Recently, former WWE star Ronda Rousey stated on X that Vince McMahon can still control the creative aspect of WWE despite resigning from the company. “Bruce Prichard is basically Vince’s avatar, if he’s still around Vince still has a hand in the business,” Rousey stated.
The Hollywood Reporter noted that Vince McMahon is still involved in the making of creative decisions in WWE.
“Sources say that even while McMahon was no longer an active member of the executive team, he would weigh in on creative decisions, reaching out to employees by email and text with suggestions.”
Vince McMahon is only a shareholder of TKO Group, with 12% of Class A common stock. The majority of TKO is now controlled by Endeavor. Therefore, McMahon won’t be able to return to the company like he did in 2023.
