Update On Becky Lynch’s WWE Status After Final RAW Match On Her Current Contract

Update On Becky Lynch's WWE Status After Final RAW Match On Her Current Contract

Last night, Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage match to retain the Women’s World Championship. Before WWE RAW aired, there was a rumor that last night’s match was the final match of Lynch’s current contract.

PWInsider reported that Becky Lynch and WWE are negotiating a new deal. WWE management believes that Lynch is not looking to sign with any other promotion. The former women’s champion’s current contract is slated to expire next week. A source told PWInsider that Lynch is “about to get a well-deserved raise as part of her new agreement.”

WWE is scheduled to hold a live event this Saturday at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. Lynch has been advertised for the show. However, a source told PWInsider that she wouldn’t be at the event.
