AEW Full Gear pay-per-view is scheduled to take place this Saturday from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The company held a press conference ahead of the event yesterday.

The journalists asked AEW President Tony Khan a lot of questions about CM Punk’s incident at the All Out media scrum. However, Tony Khan refused to comment on Punk’s current status with the company.

During the press conference, Tony Khan was asked why he did not stop CM Punk at the All Out media scrum. Khan said the following,

“He was sitting 2 feet away from me. I did not know what he was gonna say. I had Toni Storm, Keith Lee, and Swerve coming to talk to me so I was engaged there.”

Tony Khan further said that he appreciates what CM Punk did for the company. Khan added that he has nothing but good things to say about Punk.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
