Tony Khan Comments On WWE Talks With Warner Bros. Discovery

WWE SmackDown will be moved to USA Network in October, and WWE NXT will be moved to CW Network in October. However, executives of TKO Group Holdings are currently expecting a television deal for WWE RAW.

Last month, TKO executives had a meeting with Warner Bros. Discovery’s Chief Revenue & Strategy Officer, Bruce Campbell. After the news broke on social media, Tony Khan stated multiple times that he has a good relationship with WBD. AEW’s deal with WBD is set to expire later this year.

In an interview with Going Ringside, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about TKO executives having a meeting with WBD officials. Khan said the following:

“It’s part of sports. I think everybody discusses contracts and free agency and things of that nature. I think everybody is aware that everybody is going to be talking to everybody in the media this coming year. So, there will certainly be a lot of opportunities.

We’ve had a great history with Warner Bros. Discovery and continue to produce great ratings, so I think we’ll be in a very good position next year.”
