On Saturday, Chris Jericho was accused of harassing former AEW wrestler Kylie Rae. There’s no evidence that Jericho is guilty. Also, Rae hasn’t been outspoken about the incident yet.
During the AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum, Kevin of Sports Illustrated asked Tony Khan about what has been done to prevent sexual harassment from happening in the AEW locker room.
“It’s a great question. I think it applies to everybody in the whole company, women and men. It’s something we are very serious about. And we have a policy in place, and certainly, I think anytime there’s anything like that we would make sure we do everything we can to prevent it. AEW has the best safety record, I believe any pro wrestling company in the world, I believe we have the most safe environment, I believe we have the best safety record of any pro wrestling company, And I would hold the record of AEW on safety against any wrestling company in the world, I think AEW is the safest place for pro wrestling, And if any our wrestler ever have a concern, they always have an open line to talk to me. I believe anybody sitting here tells you they always talk to me anytime they are concerned about anything.
Well certainly If there’s anything that you know came to light to me I would take it to the disciplinary committee. And that’s how we’ve been doing it. The disciplinary committee has been doing a great job. Everybody knows they have an open line to me or anybody on that committee.”
