The Rock Provides Update On His Elbow Injury

On Wednesday, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that he suffered an elbow injury while shooting “The Smashing Machine.” The upcoming biographical sports drama film is about the life and career of former wrestler and MMA fighter Mark Kerr.

Today, The Rock provided an update on his injury. The Hollywood megastar stated that he suffered a ruptured bursa sac. The Rock added that there’s no extensive tissue damage in his elbow and is confident that it will eventually heal.

“Elbow got kissed by the boo boo monster 👹 💪🏾
No extensive tissue damage.
Ruptured bursa sac that will eventually heal.
I’ve had much worse, and as always let pain – and tequila – be the guide 😈
Back to work.
