The Godfather Undergoes Successful Surgery

By The Spotlight StaffDecember 22, 2022
The Godfather Undergoes Successful Surgery

The Godfather is one of the most popular superstars in the Attitude Era. At the time, he received huge reactions from fans similar to Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker. Charles Wright aka God Father made sporadic appearances on WWE television in the past several years. Due to the popularity of the gimmick, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

Earlier this week, Wright posted a photo of himself on Facebook and stated that he has undergone hip surgery at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Finally getting that hip surgery done.”

The WWE Hall of Famer then posted another photo and provided an update on the surgery. He said that the surgery was successful.

“Hip replacement surgery went real well. And I will say that morphine is a hell of a drug..”
