Last night’s SmackDown took place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. WWE taped next week’s Friday Night SmackDown after last night’s show went off the air.
Here are the spoilers for the December 23rd episode of SmackDown.
A Gauntlet Match took place to determine the #1 contender for SmackDown Women’s Championship. Raquel Rodriguez won the match and she defeated Shayna Baszler as the final opponent to earn the championship opportunity.
Rey Mysterio defeated Angel. During the match, Karrion Kross and Scarlett attended as fans. Following the match, Mysterio challenged Kross to fight but Kross refused.
Bray Wyatt cut a promo on SmackDown. Wyatt said that LA Knight should apologize to him because he is not Uncle Howdy. Wyatt then attacked the cameraman.
Roman Reigns did a promo on SmackDown. Reigns said that he will defeat John Cena and Kevin Owens on the December 30th episode of SmackDown. Also, Reigns stated that Sheamus will face Solo Sikoa on December 30th SmackDown.
The Usos defeated Hit Row for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
Braun Strowman teamed with Ricochet and defeated Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser in the Miracle on 34th Street Fight. During the match, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods appeared from one of the gift boxes as toy soldiers.
