Rhea Ripley Takes A Shot At WWE After Snubbing Her From SummerSlam

SummerSlam is scheduled to take place this Saturday at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. WWE has announced seven matches for the show. However, two bouts that were scheduled for the event had to cancel due to time constraints.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus started their storyline after WrestleMania 39. Both women faced each other at Night of Champions. Their second match was scheduled to take place at the Biggest Party of the Summer. However, it was postponed to the August 14th episode of Monday Night RAW.

WRKD Wrestling reported that “There are growing frustrations backstage in WWE regarding the handling of the women’s division.”

Recently, Becky Lynch posted photos of her SummerSlam shoot and expressed her frustration after her match was postponed.

“This was the shoot I did for Summerslam….”

Rhea Ripley also started a storyline with Raquel Rodriguez that leads to a match at SummerSlam. However, Adam Pearce told Rodriguez that the bout will take place as soon as she is medically cleared.

On Twitter, the Women’s World Champion took a shot at WWE after snubbing her from SummerSlam.

“So from SummerSlam WWE decided to cut:
WrestleMania main eventer
Hall of Famer & legend
World Champion & Most over woman right now

If this is how WWE is treating these three, what does it say about the rest? This is how WWE treats their women. #WeWantEquality”
