LA Knight is one of the hottest superstars in WWE right now. Last month, Knight won the SummerSlam Battle Royal, which was the start of his push. The Megastar last competed at Payback PLE this past Saturday, where he defeated The Miz. LA Knight was then endorsed by John Cena after the match.
PWInsider reported that LA Knight and WWE are in negotiation for a new long-term deal. Sources told PWInsider that the deal is close to being signed or has already been signed. They also noted that the contract is believed to be five years long.
“LA Knight and WWE have been negotiating a new long-term deal.
Believed by some sources to be as long as 5 years, and that the deal is either close to closing or has already closed.”
PWInsider further stated that WWE always wanted to lock LA Knight into a long-term deal before going forward with his push. As of now, Knight has been listed as the No. 1 babyface on the SmackDown roster.
