Jon Jones Charged With 2 Misdemeanors In Case Involving Drug Testing Agent

UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has been charged with two misdemeanors stemming from an incident with a drug-testing agent. The incident occurred after the drug testing agent visited Jones’ home to collect samples in March.

According to Bernadillo County (N.M.), Jon Jones has been charged with assault and interference with communications. Jones is scheduled to appear in a virtual court hearing on Wednesday, July 17th.

The UFC fighter will face less than a year of jail time if he is convicted of both charges. Jones will also be fined $500 for the assault misdemeanor and $1,000 for the interference with communications misdemeanor.

Last April, Jon Jones posted the security camera footage of the incident on his X account.
