Jeff Hardy’s AEW Contract Set To Expire

By The Spotlight StaffMay 31, 2024
Jeff Hardy's AEW Contract Set To Expire

Jeff Hardy last competed on the February 16th episode of AEW Rampage, where he faced Sammy Guevara in a No Disqualification match. Hardy suffered a broken nose during the bout.

During the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy said that his brother has been medically cleared and Jeff’s contract with All Elite Wrestling expires in mid-June.

“I mean, he’s [Jeff Hardy] been cleared. He’s just sitting at home, waiting on the call. Unlike me, he’s not someone who really gets out and makes things happen. He just kind of waits on someone to call him. He sits at home, just waiting on that phone call, jumping on the trampoline up and down with the dumbbells. But yeah, he’s got to, like, mid-June or so, I think, and then his deal is up. So I guess we’ll see if he ends up re-signing or not re-signing.”

Matt Hardy also said that his brother is very happy to be at home. However, Matt further noted that Jeff wants to end his pro wrestling career on a high note.
