Last month Jeff Hardy was arrested for driving under the influence in Volusia County, Florida. Later, he was released from jail after paying a $3,500 bond.

According to the latest report from PWInsider, Jeff Hardy is scheduled to appear in the Volusia County Court in Florida on August 2 at 2:30 PM for a hearing on the matter.

“While Jeff Hardy entered a written plea of not guilty several weeks ago and noted at that the time he was waiving his arraignment, he was ordered via mail on 7/15 to appear for arraignment on 8/2 at 2:30 PM before Volusia County Court.“

Prior to Hardy being arrested, he was supposed to team up with his brother Matt Hardy to wrestle against The Young Bucks and Jurassic Express in a Triple Threat Ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Due to his DUI arrest, Jeff Hardy was removed from the bout and was suspended from AEW without pay.

AEW President Tony Khan recently mentioned that Jeff Hardy is getting treatment for substance abuse issues.

We will update you when we receive more details. Stay tuned with The Spotlight.
