Last year, WWE Hall of Famer JBL made his return to WWE on the October 17th episode of Monday Night RAW to reintroduce Baron Corbin. JBL announced that Corbin is the modern-day wrestling god and revealed himself as Corbin’s manager.

After pairing with JBL, Baron Corbin picked up victories over Dolph Ziggler, Johnny Gargano, Cedric Alexander, and Akira Tozawa. However, Corbin started to lose matches following his loss to Drew McIntyre on the November 21st episode of Monday Night RAW.

This past Monday on RAW, Baron Corbin competed against Dexter Lumis in a singles match. Corbin was unable to win the bout.

In a backstage segment on RAW, JBL told Corbin that he tarnished JBL’s Hall of Fame legacy by losing matches. JBL further said that he was a draw in his prime, but Corbin is a channel changer. JBL ended his partnership with Corbin afterward.

PWInsider reported that WWE hasn’t booked JBL for future WWE shows.

“We are told that JBL is not scheduled to appear regularly on WWE programming going forward.”

Since his debut on the main roster, Baron Corbin has been repackaged multiple times. However, nothing worked for him except the “Broke Corbin” gimmick.
