Impact Wrestling signed several former WWE superstars to the company in the past few weeks. Recently, they signed another WWE superstar who worked with the company for more than fifteen years.

Fandango, real name Johnny Curtis made his FCW (WWE’s development territory) debut in 2008. Curtis was a part of the first season of NXT in 2010.

However, his career skyrocketed after debuting with a new persona called “Fandango” in 2012. A year later, Fandango defeated Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29, which was the biggest accomplishment in his WWE career.

In 2016, Fandango teamed with Tyler Breeze and called themselves “Breezango.” The duo competed on NXT before being released from the company on June 25th, 2021.

Fandango then appeared in several independent wrestling promotions as “Dirty Dango.” Last October, Dango made his Impact Wrestling debut at Bound for Glory, where he faced Brian Myers for the Impact Digital Media Championship. However, he was unable to win the title.

PWInsider has reported that Dirty Dango has officially signed a deal with Impact Wrestling.

“Dirty Dango, the former Fandango, has officially signed with Impact Wrestling, PWInsider.com has confirmed.”
