Chelsea Green’s recent momentum has been halted after the WWE star suffered a foot injury during the February 6 episode of SmackDown. Green was competing against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend in a Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match when the injury occurred, forcing her to withdraw from upcoming commitments shortly after the show.
The injury directly impacted Green’s scheduled AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship defense, where she was set to team with Ethan Page against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana on AAA on Fox. Due to the injury, Green was unable to compete, and La Hiedra stepped in as her replacement. The championship match aired on February 7, where Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana defeated Ethan Page and La Hiedra to win the titles, ending Green and Page’s reign.
Following the loss, Green shared an image on social media showing her foot in a walking boot, expressing frustration over the situation and AAA’s decision to continue with the match despite her absence.
“The AUDACITY of @luchalibreaaa to throw @OfficialEGO into a match like that after I almost ended my career on Smackdown last night from a near fatal fall 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Ethan, we need to talk!!!”

As of now, there is no confirmed timetable for Chelsea Green’s return, leaving uncertainty around her in-ring future in the coming weeks.
