Anthony Joshua Invites Alex Pereira To Box, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Responds

Alex Pereira (11-2) last competed at UFC 303, where he defeated Jiri Prochazka by KO (head kick and punches) to retain the Light Heavyweight Championship. Pereira has such amazing knockout power that he can knock out any opponent without much effort.

The Poatan is a former Glory Middleweight and Light Heavyweight Champion and has a 33-7 record in professional kickboxing. The 37-year-old also had a boxing win over Marcelo de Souza Cruz by TKO in 2017.

On X, Anthony Joshua suggested that Alex Pereira should transition to boxing one day.

“Alex Pereira should make a boxing debut one day.”

Pereira responded to Joshua by saying, “I’m honored you think so. It’s always been my dream, I’m 37 I cannot make a career in it so who do you recommend I fight?”

In a response, 2-time former Unified World Heavyweight Champion stated, “The options are endless champ. I am sure something can be done. Drop @258mgt a line”
