AEW Star’s Return Postponed Due To Another Surgery

AEW Star's Return Postponed Due To Another Surgery

Several AEW wrestlers are currently sidelined with injuries. Bandido was supposed to make his return in the next few weeks after months away from the squad circle. Unfortunately, he has to wait much longer.

Bandido last competed on the June 16th episode of AEW Rampage, where he faced Konosuke Takeshita. During the match, Bandido sustained a wrist injury. Back in July, he underwent surgery to repair his wrist.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer reported Bandido has to undergo another surgery because his bone didn’t heal well.

“Bad news for Bandido, by the way. Another surgery on the wrist. Yeah, it didn’t heal properly. No, it’s not good at all. It’s really too bad because he was literally ready to come right back, and the bone didn’t heal well, which is really sad.”
